Café the Plaza celebrates its 27th anniversary with an Oktoberfest
Your may expect to find guys in Lederhosen and gals in Dirndl dresses at the upcoming Oktoberfest at Café the Plaza, and we can promise you a wonderful event that winks at the world-famous Oktoberfest in Munich.

On October 5 Café the Plaza’s 27th anniversary festivities will commence, and they are all about beer and food. Expect roast pig, grilled ham, Apfelstrudel, Bratkartoffeln, Bratwurst and schnitzel and a beer wagon and picnic tables. Special mugs will be for sale and entertainment starts at 5 pm with DJ Mr. Ed. When he finishes his stint, it is time for Travel Sessions (from 7 to 10); DJ Mr. Ed will be back for more from 10 to 11 pm.

The first Oktoberfest was held 208 years ago when Princess Theresia von Saksen-Hildburghausen and Lodewijk von Baiern got married. Then it was quite a small affair, but nowadays more than 5 million people flock to Munich for this beer-drenched event.

So raise your Steins to 27 years of fun at Café the Plaza on October 5. Prosit!
