The Dutch King's birthday, April 27, will not pass unnoticed on Aruba. King Willem-Alexander and his wife Maxima are much-loved on the island and a warm salute is brought to them from overseas on his birthday. At the Renaissance Marketplace things will get hopping and bopping for the kids at noon with a photo booth, face painting, a carousel, a dino
jump, balloons and a trampoline. At Café the Plaza there is orange cotton candy, the Dutch favorite Oranjebitter and Dutch waffles. Café the Plaza's traditional fish cart will be out to offer the new herring and deep fried ‘Dutch kibling’. A kids' flea market and live music will make everyone happy.
