On the final evening of the latest series of quiz nights at Cafe The Plaza, all honors went to the team called Bier Hier (Beer Here). The savvy team came up with answers to the majority of the questions of that night, such as: who are the presidents at the Mount Rushmore Memorial? Answer: Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln. Or this one: the Darien Gap is a region linking which two countries? Answer: Panama and Colombia.
Team Bier Hier once more proved to be the team picking up steam as they went along, as they not only won this night's competition (earning them two bottles of wine), but they were also the winners of the series of seven quiz nights, winning goody bags and a bottle of wine provided by sponsor Pepia Est. So there was no shortage of wine on the team's table after the prizes had been given out, as the picture shows.
The Plaza Quiz Night will be on vacation until August, allowing all the teams to give their minds an intellectual rest and allowing others to form new teams with which they can challenge the winners. The Quiz Nights will continue on August 22nd. Joining is easy: all it takes is a team of 4 or 5 members - the fee is a mere 5 florins per person.
Team `Bier Hier' is once again victorious
